rules & regulations

We want to see what our creative community can come up with so the rules are simple:

Must be a new character. Past animation or character may not be submitted. All animation styles are allowed! 2D, 3D, stop motion, etc, but nothing offensive or A rated. Copyrighted objects are not allowed. All entries are reviewed by moderators before they're added to the contest gallery. This process may take up to 7 days. Virtualinfocom claims no copyright to any of the audio or video in any of the contest videos, but by submitting your entry you give us the right to use your animation for promotional purposes in the future. All entries will be publicly displayed on our site. For character art, digital art we prefer the JPEG or PNG format, if we feel before declaring the winner we may ask for the source file.

Qualifications

Anyone aged from 5 years to 95 years are allowed. There is no qualification restriction.
Movie length: Minimum of 1 minute ~ 5 minutes.
Video entries may be submitted in any language but they must have English voice dubs or subtitles for worldwide viewing and appreciation. Take note that this is an international competition. Character design entry must be unique in their nature and must represent a superhero character may that be a cartoon or semi-classical or classical
Maximum 5 MB of file size are allowed.Virtualinfocom reserves the right to disqualify or remove, without notification, submissions done in poor taste, including content that is: offensive, defamatory, indecent, or objectionable.On request, winners may be asked to provide additional contact information for purpose of prize delivery.

Other Rules & Criteria

Virtualinfocom reserves the right to feature and showcase selected parts of the user videos or images from the submission forum and final thread, for event wrap up, marketing materials, media reports and others. NOTE: All used materials will always be properly credited to its original artists.Virtualinfocom reserves the right to cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control or if the number of participants do not exceed the minimum number decided by Virtualinfocom. Virtualinfocom states that all winner announcements are final. By submitting an entry, a participant automatically agrees and certifies that he/she has read and agreed to all the rules and requirements governing this particular event. By submitting, participants also grant virtualinfocom the permission to use their creative work in any future marketing event or promotion held by virtualinfocom. The Game Character Animation Contest is done out of good faith and with the purpose of bringing communities and ideas together for the entertainment of all.
